Our conference is a 3-day event hosting students from across the globe to partake in Committee Simulations of the United Nations. Usually occurring in the magnificent city of Oporto amidst the glamour of a historic town, the iconic OBSMUN conference aims to impregnate a rich culture of international-mindedness oriented by the philosophies of the UN in a global context, ultimately inculcating the delegates of today to become the prominent leaders of tomorrow.

OBSMUN 2025 is an incredible opportunity for students to have a glimpse into the world of diplomacy and foreign relations. Participants can develop their knowledge on the United Nations, improve their research and debating skills and make lifelong friendships with people from all over the world. Anyone and everyone is more than welcome at OBSMUN, and we would love to see you here in Oporto!

Every year, we carefully select our conference partners which work with us to provide our delegates with exceptional experiences.
At OBSMUN, a panel of experienced Students take lead of the organisational and logistical aspect of the conference. In order to assure its smooth running, and as per common procedure in MUN we have a clear leadership structure which joins together to form the Leadership Committee. These Students are the key people responsible in bringing OBSMUN to life.

Outside committee sessions we organise cultural excursions, a dinner social event, alongside daily coffee breaks to make sure delegates have moments to catch up with colleagues betwen the sessions.
